VERITAS. Latin word for Truth. The poster is a representation of it. I am not Christian, but I was raised as such. There are heavy influences of religious symbols within the illustration as they are the icons in which the definition of at least Christian Truth has been formed. Although to myself, it is what they represent that is key. The pursuit of Truth is a difficult and never ending journey which encompasses endless questioning like science. It requires persistence and a dedicated fortitude, a strong, independent heart like that of a Lion (Lion of Judah aka Jesus), it cuts and destroys all false perceptions, fears and irrationality, (severed serpent aka Satan) and the journey gives insight and peace through understanding and acceptance. (eye of providence aka G-d)
